CONSOLIDATED STIPEND SCHEME FORย THEย WELFARE OF SCHEDULED CASTE STUDENTS PURSUING HIGHER EDUCATION IN GOVT. COLLEGES OF HARYANA
The scheme covers only the students in Govt. College of Haryana. Under this scheme a stipend of Rs. 1000/- P.M for twelve months , an amount of Rs. 2000/- P.A. for purchasing books andย an additionalย amount ofย Rs. 500/- P.M for twelve months to those S.C Students who are availing hostel facilityย is given to the deserving SC studentsย through electronic transaction. The students will be disbursed stipendย on the basis of at least 60% attendance in the classes. The student with less than 60% attendance will not be paid . This condition has been proposed to make the students more regular in their classes.
Scholarships
To minimize the drop-out rate among students belonging to socially and economically deprived sections of the society and to attract and encourage students towards Higher Education, the Government of Haryana offers scholarships at various levels.ย This incentive falls in line with the motto of Higher Education of the State: Access, Equity and Quality.ย ย All the scholarships are applied throughย "Har-Chhatravratti"-a centralized portal developed by the Higher Education Department of Haryana.
Eligibility Conditions For SC Students:-
The students belonging to the schedule castes must furnish the following
documents:
1. Photocopy of SC certificate.
2. Photocopy of Haryana Domicile certificate.
3. Photocopy of previous examination passed on the basis of which he/she sought
admission in the present class.
4. The students who failed in the last year university examination will not be eligible for the stipend.
5. Proof of bank account linking with Aadhar.
6. Attendance proof
7. Parivar Pehchan Patra.
